Food and Wine Experiences 

We are a small tour company which focuses on introducing travelers to unique food and wine experiences with local specialists who work with local products.

We have travelled extensively and believe that you only really get to know and understand people if you cook and eat with them.

You will leave Hermanus knowing a lot more than the food, wine, fynbos, sea and the people.
You will get an insight into the soul of Hermanus and the Overberg.

Feast

Spend a very special day in the Hemel en Aarde valley, taste award winning wines and savor an incredible lunch created by the chef using local ingredients.

Blend

Enjoy a tour in a state of the art wine cellar. Blend, bottle and label your own wine in this unique hands-on opportunity. Followed by lunch overlooking the lagoon and mountains.

Walk

Be inspired by our expert guide as you hike through the fynbos, followed by a wine tasting and delectable cheese and charcuterie platter.

Bake

Bake your own loaf of bread, learn about baking traditions. Enjoy a picnic in the vineyards or wine cellar of the oldest wine farm in the district while sampling the local wines.

Gather

Gather fresh ingredients on a working organic farm. Prepare a delicious healthy lunch with a local chef whilst tasting the local wines.

Butcher

Make your own sausages the traditional way on a farm in a secret valley. Grill them on an open fire and enjoy lunch with a wine tasting.

Taste

Join us for a tour in the New Harbour, watch these mysterious molluscs grow and taste their extraordinary flavours.

We are not our possessions, but we are the accumulation of everything we’ve seen, the things we’ve done, and the places we’ve been to.

There is no better way to get to know a place than through its food and wine and the people who produce and prepare it.

We have removed the hassle of finding unique and little known experiences which cannot be found on travel sites or travel packages. We have combined activities to make the experience rich, textured and layered in order to give visitors a better understanding and insight into Hermanus and her people.

As the Overberg is largely an agricultural area,  it has a long and rich culinary tradition which is unique to the area. The local cooks, chefs, vintners, artisans and crafts people use the local produce in such a way that it brings out the best in the tastes, flavors, textures, colors and aromas of the produce. The food and wines reflect something unique and special about this beautiful area and its beautiful people. A new generation of farmers, vintners and chefs have ensured that the food and wine is contemporary and refreshingly playful.
